By Public Transportation
From Rotterdam "Centraal Station":
Take metro line D in the direction of “De Akkers” in Spijkenisse. Change trains at “Beurs”, which is the second stop. Continue on either metro line A to “Binnenhof”, B to “Nesselande”, or C heading for “De Terp”. All trains in these directions depart from the same platform at “Beurs”. Exit the metro at the fifth stop, “Kralingse Zoom”. When exiting the station, facing the main road, the Erasmus University is directly across the road.
Alternatively, you can take tram number 7 to “Erasmus Universiteit (Woudestein)”, which leaves from the front of the train station approximately every 10 minutes. The trip will take about 20 minutes and you should exit at the final stop “Erasmus Universiteit (Woudestein)” in front of the university’s main entrance.
For travelling by metro, the use of an OV chipcard is mandatory. Starting February 11, 2010, the same will apply to all other modes of public transportation within the city of Rotterdam, including trams, with the exception of the regular trains operated by the NS. For more information on the OV chipcard, as well as time tables, visit the website of the RET.
