Output

The output dashboard specifies ERIM’s research output in terms of publications.

The results for academic journal articles are differentiated by type (core versus non-core) and quality (core-top, secondary and the respective ISI quartiles of impact).

We define core journals as the journals on the ERIM Journals List (EJL), which are leading in the field of management research.

Journals can also be classified by ISI quartile. Here, ISI quartiles of impact are calculated by averaging the ISI annual impact factor (JCR) of a journal over the last five years, and then ranking the journals within their ISI subject category. Hence, a journal falls into the category of “ISI 1st“ if its average impact factor ranks in the top 25% of its subject category. If multiple subject categories apply to a journal, the most applicable subject category was selected in these calculations.

The output overview contains information on the major types of publications produced by ERIM members over the latest 6 years: journal articles, books, books chapters and professional publications.
