ERIM Fellow

An ERIM Fellow is a (Co-)Director of one of the ERIM Research Programmes.

Who

Senior (preferably of professor level) Faculty of EUR: RSM Erasmus University (RSM) / Erasmus School of Economics (ESE).

Criteria

  • PhD degree
  • Regular membership criteria as specified above
  • Experience and capability to manage research programmes

Tasks

  • Acting as (Co-) Director of ERIM research programme
  • Carrying out and disseminating high quality research in the domain of research in management
  • Building the reputation of the research programme in the international research community
  • Coordinating and stimulating external funding programmes
  • Coaching early and mid-career talent
  • Supervising of ERIM MPhil/PhD students
  • Coordinating advanced courses in the doctoral MPhil/PhD programme

Benefits

These are identical to the benefits of an ERIM Member. An ERIM Fellow receives an additional voucher of 0.1 of the size of his/her appointment at RSM/ESE for the management tasks related to the ERIM Fellowship.

Appointment and Evaluation Procedure

A Fellow is nominated by the Scientific Director and appointed by the Dean of the Ôpenvoerende' faculteit (RSM). The duration of the appointment is five years. If a Fellow does not meet the Membership criteria any longer or demonstrates major shortcomings in the management of the research programme the Fellow appointment can be ended earlier.
