Test Information

GMAT/GRE

All applicants to the PhD in Management have to submit the results of the GMAT or GRE test. The test results should be sent directly to ERIM. To facilitate this please ask your test administrator for a GMAT/GRE Score Report Form. Complete this form and return it to the administrator before leaving the test centre, this will ensure that GMAT/GRE Score Reports are sent directly to ERIM.

For the GMAT test, our programme is registered as “Erasmus University - Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University - Erim Gs/PhD” and the institutional code is QK8-CX-23. The GRE institution code for ERIM is 7103. Information about GMAT and GRE can be found on their websites: www.gmat.com and www.gre.com, respectively.

TOEFL/IELTS

ERIM requires that applicants whose native language is not English must submit scores on the TOEFL or IELTS. If the medium of your pre-university education was English, you do not need to submit TOEFL/IELTS scores. If your university programme was taught in English, you still need to submit the English test scores.

ERIM's institution code for TOEFL is 8268. Information about TOEFL and IELTS can be found on their websites: www.toefl.com and www.ielts.org.

Please note that the complete process from applying for the test until the submission of the score report may take a considerable period of time. The applicant should pay all costs for the tests required. The costs of the new tests paid by the applicant will be reimbursed by ERIM if the candidate is accepted to the PhD programme.
