Profile

Dr. Ferdinand Jaspers (1978) is assistant professor in the Centre for Entrepreneurship at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, the Netherlands. He obtained his PhD from the same university in 2009. His research interests include the organization of innovation and the firm gestation process. Regarding the former, his research focuses on firm boundaries for new product development projects and on NPD project management. Regarding the latter, his research focuses on the activities nascent entrepreneurs perform to start their firms. His work has appeared in or is forthcoming in Technovation, Industrial Marketing Management, Technology Analysis & Strategic Management, the Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management, and the International Journal of Technology Management.
