Our world cries out for help!

Charities, foundations and companies spend over hundreds of billions of Euro's to reduce poverty, environmental stress and other human misery. They intend a positive impact on society. But do they really solve the world's problems? Are good things done well?

This minor will teach you about the relationship between Non-Profit Organisations and Companies. Do you want to learn about the Corporate Social Responsibility of companies and Non-Profit Organisations? Do you want to go beyond theory, and learn about the practice of doing good as well?

Then this in the perfict minor for you!

We will discuss four subjects on non-profit organisation and companies; Partnerships, Grant-making, Social Impact and Volunteering. Every two weeks, one of these subjects will be addressed from these two different angels. Lectures and several guest lectures from (inter)national practitioners and academics will provide invaluable new insights, knowledge and practical information. Team work and student presentations will ensure more informal discussions. Next to that, we will go on a field trip and visit a CSR conference.
