The development of the documentation mindmap has started

The first work on the documentation section has begun. A mind-map approach has been chosen to  structure the content.  This graphical approach to content structuring will allow our users to easily find articles, reports, weblinks and research done in the area of their specific interest.

For the complete and more detailed version of the mind-map click on the image on the right.

Introduction to the New Worlds of Work
Knowledge work is changing due to the demographic development in the world, environmental pressure, the level of global competition, and the technological changes that enable profound new ways of working. Erasmus Centre for Knowledge @ Work explores new ways of working and the effects on people (satisfaction, work-life balance), profit (productivity, innovation) and planet (mobility and sustainability). New ways of working include simple concepts such as instant messaging and video conferencing, but also more complex issues like distributed global team cooperation, advanced combinations of virtual and physical office concepts and new management styles. We aim to collectively learn about the new world of work – by bringing together academics and practitioners from front runners in business – that will change the way we look at work.
