Paper submission – areas of interest

We invite academic and business contributions within the scope of “smart business networks” to present new research and experience on one or more of the following:

  • Value: How do SBNs deliver new value? Where is this value and how is it measured? How can they improve innovation? How is joint value determined and distributed among the network participants?
  • Design: How do network structures affect the value and performance of the business network? How do smart business networks change the governence and organics of participating organisations? How are network processes, execution and coordination designed?
  • Performance: How is the performance of a SBN determined? How can a SBN create win-win situations for all participants? What are the determinants for network performance? How can SBNs increase performance and value for the customer?
  • Enablers: Which technologies are making SBNs possible? How are SBN processes shared and executed among many participants? How are “SBN Dashboards” designed and implemented to monitor activity and resolve new situations? Can emerging standards (e.g. RosettaNet) suppport SBNs?
  • Measurement: How can “network maps” that discover, track, and visualise the customer and the intra- and inter-organisational networks be created and implemented? What must be measured and how are these measurements applied?
  • Business and government: Where are/will SBNs have the greatest impact on businesss strategy and operations? Is there a social impact? Can government organisations gain from SBNs?
