Team
The SCOPE team consists mostly of student assistants that assist in research projects and collect the data for the SCOPE database. In this section the members of the team are introduced: who they are and what the do within the SCOPE center.

Ecaterina Demcencov
Coming from Moldova to get her degree in Business Administration from the RSM Erasmus University, Ecaterina started her Bachelor in 2006. In April 2007 she started as a student assistant at the SCOPE center, assisting in all kinds of different tasks but also assisting in the professor's research by doing some basic statistical analyses. At the end of her first year in the bachelor program, Ecaterina's results were so good that she was invited to the RSM honor class program in which only the very best students get additional courses and skills development.

Dr.
Fabienne Fortanier
Fabienne started working for the SCOPE center in 1997, when it was founded. After finishing her masters in Public Management (now Global Business & Stakeholder Management), she transferred to the Amsterdam Business School, University of Amsterdam to get a PhD degree in Management studies. She defended her dissertation 'Multinational Enterprises, Institutions and Sustainable Development' in February 2008. Now, she works as a research manager at the Statistics Netherlands (CBS), doing research on the effects of internationalization and globalization on the dutch markets. Next to her job at Statistics Netherlands Fabienne is still involved in the SCOPE center, writing papers using the SCOPE-data and assisting in improving the methodology of data collection and she is involved in the decision making processes of all major adaptations and transformations.

Frea Haandrikman, BSc
After finishing her Bachelor's in International Business Administration at RSM/Erasmus University, Frea went on to do a Master in Business Administration: the program of Global Business & Stakeholder Management. After finishing the courses of this Master program at RSM Erasmus University, she decided to apply for a job as student assistant at Scope.

Ismaela Stöteler, MScBA
After finishing Ismaela Stöteler is a research associate at the SCOPE center and coordinates the MScBA program on Global Business and Stakeholder Management. Ismaela obtained her MSc degree cum laude from the Rotterdam School of Management Erasmus University with a specialization in Business-Society Management (2008). In her thesis on 'Multinationals and Wages', she compared the labour conditions of employees at foreign owned firms with those of domestic companies, using a unique linked employer-employee dataset. Ismaela's work within the SCOPE center consists mostly of working on labour related research and overall management of the center. Before graduating, Ismaela worked at the SCOPE center as a student assistant. In addition to her academic work, Ismaela has been a consultant for Philips Electronics on a project aimed at launching a 'green' product they developed under the UN Framework Convention for Climate Change. In the future she hopes her business in fair trade jewellery will be successful and to remain working in the field of fair trade or labour conditions.

Andrea da Rosa, MScBA
Andrea works for SCOPE since November 2007 where she has been involved in research projects in the field of international business, and has given general support for various research and teaching activities. She followed the Master in Global Business and Stakeholder Management at RSM, and graduated in December 2009 with a Master thesis on the topic of Poverty and Business. In her thesis project, she systematically reviewed the literature on poverty and business, and documented different strategies employed by large corporations to reduce poverty. During her studies, Andrea worked as a sustainability analyst (intern) for Sustainalytics, a research organization in the field of responsible investment, where she conducted research for the creation and update of sustainability profiles of Dutch corporations.
