In cooperation with the Wage Indicator Foundation, the SCOPE center is involved with research projects concerning labour conditions in developing countries. An important focus herein has been the labour conditions provided by the SCOPE core companies compared to those within domestic companies. A first research effort resulted in working paper entitled
: ' Multinationals and wages: the good, the bad and the ugly?' in which it is found that multinationals pay higher wages than domestic companies in developing countries as well.
