DRIFT co-hosts 'Midzomern8' festival in Amsterdam
"Great vision seeks space" is the theme of 2007's 'Midzomern8' festival. Over the next fifty years, the Netherlands will change just as much as it has changed over the past five hundred years! What will Holland's map look like in 2050? Will the Netherlands be submerged, or will we keep our feet dry? These and other pressing questions are being asked at this year's festival.

More business schools embrace a 'green' agenda. Management professor Gail Whiteman has made potential implications of climate change the main focus of a required undergraduate class she teaches. It's also covered extensively in an MBA elective, called 'Companies in Ecologies.' Her goal is to "try to move away from the doom and gloom and say, 'What can we do?'
