Aims

This course provides a foundation for critical thinking in the area of innovation management. Topics addressed are the dynamics of innovation at the industry level, different approaches in creativity and idea management literatures, research on control of innovation projects, problem solving in innovation, and organizational forms for system innovation.

The course will be run as a seminar examining theories and empirical studies of innovation management. Class sessions will be highly interactive. During the course students will write a proposal for a research paper on innovation management and a review of a research proposal.
