Thursday June 15, 10:00 - 15:00

Introduction

ECOPT will organize a workshop with the title "Analytics & Simulation in Public Transport" on Thursday June 15, 2017. Several speakers from academia will share their views on public transport. Furthermore, there will be a ceremony where the sponsoring of a CASPT award by NS will be announced and where the latest special issue of Public Transport will be presented. This special issue has been edited by Leo Kroon and Marie Schmidt and contains papers presented at the 2015 CASPT conference in Rotterdam.

The workshop is of special interest to:

  • Consultants in public transportation,
  • Developers of public transport scheduling or simulation software,
  • Academics and practitioners with a general interest in analytics or simulation for public transportation.

All presentations will be in English.
