Guide to Erasmus University Rotterdam – Woudestein campus

Below is a satellite image of the EUR Woudestein campus. RSM Erasmus University is located in Building T, at the south end of the campus (marked on the map below). The offices of the Department Management of Technology and Innovation are on the 10th floor.

By car

From the A-16 motorway take the exit 'Centrum' (exit number 25). Follow 'Centrum', also on the roundabout Kralingse Plein (Abram van Rijckevorselweg). At the first traffic lights turn right (Burgemeester Oudlaan). Turn right immediately after tram terminus (see map EUR Woudestein). Parking can be done on the lower floors of the T-building (parking fees will be charged).

By public transport

For those flying in to Amsterdam – Schiphol airport, the train station is connected to the terminal building and the tracks in fact run underneath the airport. Please buy single tickets to Rotterdam Central Station, as return tickets in The Netherlands are only valid the same day or during a weekend. A big panel just over the train ticket machines tells you when and where the first train to Rotterdam departs (up-to-date information available via https://www.ns.nl). Also, Rotterdam has its own small, yet convenient international airport with connections to many European cities: https://www.rotterdamthehagueairport.nl/en/.There is a frequent bus service between Rotterdam airport and Rotterdam Central Station. A taxi is clearly the fastest option.

From Rotterdam Central Station you can take a taxi to the Woudestein campus of Erasmus University (roughly EUR 20), or take either tram 7 to its final destination, or tram 21 as well as tram 24 to the stop “Woudestein”. The tram journey will take about 15 minutes. There is also the option of taking the metro to “Kralingse Zoom” which involves a change of trains at “Beurs”, so this option is not necessarily better than the tram.
