Integrating Economics and Psychology in Experimental Research

Speaker

Abstract

Kristy Towry (Goizueta Business School, Emory University) has successfully integrated insights from economic and psychological theories in accounting experimental research. In this research method session, she will discuss differences in theoretical perspectives from economics and psychology, identify current challenges to achieve greater integration across the two paradigms, and provide research directions using experimental research.
