ERIM Honours Programme in Research in Management 2008-2009

An Enriching Academic Experience

The fifth ERIM Honours Programme will start on Monday, 2 February 2009.

The ERIM Honours Programme in Research in Management will expose a selected number of students to recent knowledge in the five fields of management research: Business Processes, Logistics and Information Systems (LIS), Organization (ORG), Marketing (MKT), Finance & Accounting (F&A), and Strategy (STR).

The participants of the programme will follow ten sessions and receive hands-on experience of what research in management in the five ERIM research programmes is all about.

All sessions are carried out by renowned professors of RSM and ESE:

Willem Verbeke (ESE / Marketing),

Daan van Knippenberg (RSM / Organization),

Rommert Dekker (ESE / Logistics & Information Systems),

Abe de Jong (RSM / Finance),

Henk Volberda & Frans van den Bosch (RSM / Strategy).

Upon successful participation in all sessions and completion of the final assignment, participants will be awarded the certificate "Honours Programme in Research in Management" by ERIM, worth 15 ECTS (extracurricular).

Motivated 2nd and 3rd year bachelor students with excellent study results from the study fields Business Administration, International Business Administration, Economics & Business, Econometrics, Informatics & Economics were invited to apply for this unique experience. This year, 30 students selected on the basis of motivation, grades, study progress and research experience, will take up this intellectual challenge.
