<link people ilan-oshri _blank>Ilan Oshri
Ilan (PhD in 2002 from the University of Warwick) has become a High Performance ERIM Member as of September 1, 2008. He currently holds a position as Associate Professor of Strategy and Technology Management at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. Ilan received his PhD in Strategic Management and Technological Innovations, entitled ‘Cross-Project Learning: A Study based on the Israeli Electronics Defense Industry’. Dr. Ilan Oshri is the co-author of the books “Knowledge Processes in Globally Distributed Contexts” and “Standards-Battles in Open Source Software”, and the co-editor of “Outsourcing Global Services: Knowledge, Innovation and Social Capital”. His work was published in numerous magazines and journals including The Wall Street Journal, MISQ Executive, Communications of the ACM, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, European Journal of Information Systems, Journal of Information Technology, Management Learning, Journal of Strategic Information Systems and others. His main research interest lies in the area of learning, knowledge processes and innovation in global contexts. Ilan is a regular speaker in international conferences and a keynote speaker in corporate events and seminars. He is the European Editor of JIT and also the co-founder of the Global Sourcing Workshop. Ilan teaches strategic management core modules at executive levels.

<link people knut-blind _blank>Knut Blind
Knut Blind (1965) is ERIM member in the field of Business Processes as of May 1, 2008. His current position is Professor of the Endowed Chair of Standardisation at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. Knut received his PhD Cum Laude in 1995, his thesis entitled ‘Allokationsineffizienzen auf Sicherheitsmaerkten: Ursachen und Loesungsmoeglichkeiten’. His thesis received the F.A. v. Hayek-Award in 1996. He became Professor for Innovation Economics since April 2006 at the Technical University in Berlin in the Faculty Economics and Management. Blinds’ research and work areas are: Standardisation and technical change, Intellectual property rights, Innovations in the service sector, Technology foresight (Delphi method, scenario analysis) and Science and technology indicators.

<link people jeroen-de-jong _blank>Jeroen de Jong
Jeroen (1972) has become an ERIM Member in the field of Entrepreneurship & Innovation as of May 1, 2008. He is part time employed at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University as an Assistant Professor. Jeroen graduated from Erasmus University Rotterdam in business economics. He recently finished his PhD in work psychology at the University of Amsterdam. His thesis entitled ‘Individual Innovation; the connection between leadership and employees’ innovative work behaviour’. Working at EIM since 1999, he specialized in studying innovation and entrepreneurship in small firms. His research interests include innovative entrepreneurship, innovation in small firms, entrepreneurial and innovative work behavior, Open Innovation and user innovation.

As of August 2008, Ilona de Hooge (1982) has become ERIM Associate Member. Her current position is Assistant Professor of Marketing Management, at the Marketing Department of Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. Ilona received her PhD degree in Social and Economic Psychology in June 2008 at the University of Tilburg, Department of Social Psychology & TIBER (Tilburg Institute for Behavourial Economics Research). Her thesis entitled ‘Moral Emotions in Decision Making: Towards a Better Understanding of Shame and Guilt’. Her supervisors were Prof. dr. Marcel Zeelenberg and Dr. Seger M. Breugelmans. Her research interests are: Consumer Behavior (more specifically: gift-giving, products and brands and impulsive buying) and Emotions (more specifically: shame, guilt, embarrassment, pride, social emotions)
