Young Economist Essay Award for Philipp Koellinger


Philip Koellinger, ERIM Member, Erasmus School of Economics, and Christian Roessler, University of Melbourne, have received the prestigious Young Economist Essay Award of the European Association for Research in Industrial Economics for their article entitled "Entrepreneurship, Firm Formation and Organizational Design".

Philipp Koellinger is assistant professor in economics and entrepreneurship at Erasmus University Rotterdam and associate editor of Small Business Economics. His research interests are in the fields of entrepreneurship and innovation.

The European Association for Research in Industrial Economics (EARIE) was created in 1974. The aim of the Association is to provide a professional society for academics and practitioners with an interest in the field of Industrial Economics.

On the EARIE Annual Conference, a number of special awards known as the Young Economists' Essay Awards (YEEA) are chosen by a Selection Committee and presented to young economists who submitted exceptionally innovative and high-quality papers for discussion at the conference.
