ERIM Master of Philosophy in Business Research Class 2010 Kick Off
On Friday, September 3, ERIM presented its new research master Class. This year’s class has 16 students from 9 different nationalities.
Patrick Groenen, ERIM Director of Doctoral Education, welcomed the new students to ERIM and to the Doctoral Programme. The official part was followed by a guided tour through the Woudestein campus and a festive lunch. Then, the group had a pleasant boat trip and a walk in Kinderdijk, a village some 15 km east of Rotterdam, famous for its system of windmills.
The ERIM Master of Philosophy in Business Research is specifically designed for academically talented and motivated students who want to combine education in a specialization area of their choice with the challenges of undertaking research in that field.
The focus on research methods and techniques makes this research master program a perfect preparation for a successful subsequent PhD study in management or business at a top international business school or functions in staff departments of large companies, consultancy firms and institutes for applied research.
