Dissertation prizes for Ferdinand Elfers


Ferdinand Elfers, assistant professor of financial accounting at Erasmus School of Economics and ERIM Associate Member, has recently won two PhD prizes for his 2016 dissertation “Market Discipline and Disclosure Regulation for Financial Institutions” at his home institution, the University of Mannheim in Germany.

Elfers was awarded the Prize of the Ernst & Young Foundation for the best dissertation in the field of Accounting and Taxation (1,200 euros) and the Prize of the Karin-Islinger Foundation for the overall best dissertation in business administration (1,000 euros).
