I am an Associate Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship in the Department of Strategic Management & Entrepreneurship, Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.

My research interest is at the nexus of network strategy and entrepreneurship, and I focus on how network resources affect venture outcomes. My recent projects focus on (1) inter-organizational networks of the venture capital industry, (2) entrepreneurial ecosystems, and (3) high-growth IPO firms. My research has been published in the Academy of Management Journal and Research Policy. I hold a Doctor of Science Degree in Technology (with distinction) from Aalto University, Finland.

My teaching interests are in the areas of entrepreneurship and global strategy. I have taught a variety of courses across different RSM programs at the executive (Executive MBA), graduate (MSc.), and undergraduate  (IBA) levels. In 2018, I was awarded the "Teacher of the Year" for my outstanding teaching at the MSc Entrepreneurship program.

I serve as an ad-hoc reviewer for many top management and entrepreneurship journals, including Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Business Venturing, Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice, Long Range Planning, and Research Policy.
