Ingolf Dittman in Journal of Finance


The prestigious Journal of Finance has accepted a paper written by Ingolf Dittmann and co-authors Ernst Maug (University of Mannheim) and Oliver Spalt (Tilburg University). The title of this article is "Sticks or carrots? Optimal CEO compensation when managers are loss-averse".

ERIM congratulates Ingolf with this significant contribution.

About Ingolf Dittmann:
Ingolf Dittmann has delivered his Inaugural Address in January 2009 at Erasmus School of Economics, Erasmus University Rotterdam. He received his Ph.D. from Dortmund University. He also spent one year as a visiting scholar at the University of California at San Diego. His research has been published in leading international journals including the Journal of Econometrics and has won several best-paper awards. Ingolf Dittmann is member of the ERIM research institutes and the Tinbergen and chairs the research project "Explaining Stock Options in Executive Compensation" that is financed by a NWO vidi grant.
