Twan Dollevoet wins Student Research Paper Contest on Management Science in Railroad Applications

<link people twan-dollevoet _self>Twan Dollevoet, PhD Candidate at ERIM, has won first place at the Student Research Paper Contest on Management Science in Railroad Applications.

Together with co-author Marie Schmidt, PhD Candidate at the Georg August University in Goettingen, Germany, Dollevoet wrote the winning paper ‘Delay Management with Passenger Re-Routing’. He will present the paper at the annual INFORMS meeting in Austin, Texas, in the United States, on November 7. During the Business Meeting later that day, the prize will be handed out.

Dollevoet is the sixth student at Erasmus University Rotterdam to win a prize in this contest, and the fifth to win first place.
