This ranking of Europe’s frontrunners in innovation is published every year by the European Commission. Professor Jan van den Ende of Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM), has analysed the Netherlands’ performance over the years. Eight years ago, the Netherlands already scored 20% higher than the European average in the field of innovation. This has since increased to 30%, according to Van den Ende’s research.
