Ale Smidts attended the first colloquium on consumer neuroscience (1er Colloque Européen de Neuroscience du Consommateur), organised by the l’Université de Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and l’Université de Bretagne Sud, in Paris, France, on October 10, 2008.

He gave a presentation about ‘Brain mechanisms of persuasion: How celebrity expertise affects memory and attitude’. This presentation was part of session three about the effects of context and implicit persuasion.
