PubCast presenting research on Chinese entrepreneurship on YouTube

A new research-based video, or PubCast, on Chinese entrepreneurship is now online at ERIM’s new YouTube channel ERIMTV.

The PubCast presents the China Business centre’s key research results on the topic of Chinese private entrepreneurship. Assistant Professor Zhao Xiaodong (Zhejiang University) assumes the role of Chinese entrepreneur, interviewing Professor Hans Hendrischke (University of New South Wales) and Assistant Professor Mark Greeven (Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University) about their research results and methods for studying entrepreneurship in China. They discuss such topics as social networks, innovation in the Chinese IT industry, and the localised nature of the Chinese business environment.

The PubCast is available in two versions. One is in Chinese, so that Chinese entrepreneurs might benefit from the research findings. A second version of the PubCast contains English subtitles and texts, to make the video available to a larger audience.

A grant from the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO) has made the PubCast possible. The grant was awarded to Professor Barbara Krug (RSM), to disseminate the results of her NWO ‘Shifts in Governance’ project.

The PubCast was produced in cooperation with Chinese Radio & TV (CRTV), based in Amsterdam.
