New Topic Site: Purchasing & Supply Management Centre (PSM@RSM)
<link erim research centres purchasing_and_supply_management_centre _blank>PSM@RSM is devoted to high-quality research and teaching in Purchasing and Supply Management.
Within Purchasing and Supply Management, the centre focuses on four themes in particular:
- Buyer-supplier collaboration in product development
- Procurement of business services
- Purchasing and supply management and firm performance
- E-procurement and maverick buying
The centre website also contains the <link erim research centres purchasing_and_supply_management_centre ips _blank>International Purchasing Survey (IPS) project, which is an international research initiative of academics in Purchasing and Supply management from 10 countries. It aims to determine how companies define their purchasing strategies, how purchasing activities are carried out, what skills and capabilities are present in purchasing departments and how they impact performance.
PSM@RSM is led by Finn Wynstra, Professor Purchasing and Supply Management. The other members are Erik van Raaij and Melek Akin.
