ERIM Team Updates: Farewells & Introductions

Kirsten served as ERIM’s Associate Director since April 2022. Despite the short period of time served in the ERIM management team, Kirsten brought an insightful perspective and has been instrumental in driving forward change projects, such as the recent ERIM infrastructure survey. Thank you and veel success, Kirsten!

Frank has stepped down as the Academic Director of the Part-Time PhD Programme and will continue his academic career at KU Leuven. We thank him for his work at ERIM and wish him all the best in his new role.

Bep retired in June 2023, after a long service at RSM and as the Coordinator of the Part-Time PhD Programme since 2019. She has been a 'spider-in-the-web', supporting the operationalisation of the ever-growing Part-Time PhD Programme. We thank Bep for her service at RSM and ERIM, and wish her a joyful retirement!

Felicia served for over 3,5 years as Course Coordinator, and thereafter Deputy Programme Coordinator, for the Part-Time PhD Programme. She has been an invaluable sparring partner to Bep and a joyous contact for the Part-Time PhD candidates. We wish her luck in her next career step.

Phoebe served for almost 3 years as the Programme Manager of the Full-Time PhD Programme and has made her next career step at ISS, EUR. Phoebe has been instrumental in the operationalisation of the 5-year trajectory of the programme, with a focus on quality assurance aspects. We wish her best of luck in her new role!

Appointed as ESE’s Vice Dean and Director of Research and ERIM’s Associate Director as of 1 September, succeeding Kirsten. Welcome to ERIM’s management team, Pilar!

Bex succeeded Frank as the Academic Director of the Part-Time PhD Programme as of 1 September. Welcome to the team and good luck with your new responsibilities, Bex!

Not a stranger for RSM colleagues, but a new addition to the ERIM office: Silvija has joined the team in a part-time role, as the Team Lead for staff working in the Full- and Part-Time PhD Programmes. Silvija has been - and continues to be - a Business Consultant at RSM, and is serving in this new role at the ERIM office aiming to achieve efficient and smart operations across our PhD programmes. Welcome, Silvija!

Vusala joined ERIM as of 15 August as a Programme Officer for the Part-Time PhD Programme. Vusala has extensive experience in higher education administration and she is bringing her keen insights to her new role. Welcome to the ERIM, Vusala!
