Pieter Pelt 

Mr. Pieter Pelt is a third generation member and shareholder of De Stiho Groep BV, a Dutch based builders merchant. The company, founded in 1926, supplies a wide range of building materials through four separate chains. After Mr. Pelt’s MBA at the University of Groningen, he studied and worked a year in Sweden, after which he joined the family business. In 1993 Mr. Pelt took over as general manager of De Stiho Groep. Besides his activities in the family business he has been a board member of FBNed, the Dutch branch of the international network of family businesses, and a member of the advisory board of Nationaal Register, an institution on Corporate Governance and a search and selection bureau specialized in non-executive board members. In addition he participates as a non-executive board member at various family owned and private companies.
