First MHF's innovationlunch was a big success
On April 11, 2012, the first innovationlunch hosted by the MHF and Stichting Logistica took place in the business lounge of the Erasmus University. Besides enjoying the well catered lunch, the participants gathered to provide an answer to several questions regarding the state of innovations in the field of internal logistics. Among these topics were the following two questions:
- How can we encourage logistical innovation?
- How can we raise the awareness of internal logistics in the Netherlands?
These questions were answered in several small groups, each consisting of a mix of academics, suppliers, practitioners and consultants. Thereafter, the findings of all the groups were shared with all participants. The main thought of these findings entailed that the state of innovations in the field of internal logistics could be improved by bringing suppliers and practitioners closer together.
