SWFs, investment actors with unique and specific characteristics, play an increasingly prominent role in the investment landscape, with investable assets estimated at over US$7.4 trillion. Research on SWF is still a nascent field and there is a limited understanding on SWF investment behaviour and SWF impact on investee firms. Hence, it will be my objective to explore, first the impact of SWF on corporate governance of investees, second how SWF manage exit decisions of public equity investments and, third how SWF approach the fund internationalization.
