Abstract
| In recent years, corporate interest in humanitarian activities has increased. The presentation summarizes the evolution of business engagement in humanitarian operations. To differentiate between different business-humanitarian partnership possibilities, a simple framework is proposed. The benefits and risks of each type of partnership from both perspectives are elaborated upon. Finally, four case studies falling into the four identified partnership types are presented. |
