Workshop: "Emerging Methods in Bayesian Econometrics"

Speakers

Abstract

Bayesian econometrics has expanded enormously in recent years both in simulation based econometric theory and in empirical work. Researchers and PhD students in universities, government officials and central bank agencies are starting to take up Bayesian methods. In this workshop leading researchers will present recent progress in Bayesian methods and applications in macroeconomics, finance and marketing where advanced simulation methods play an important role.
