David Vogel has been editor-in-chief of California Management Review since 1982. If anyone can reveal the ‘tricks and trades’ of publishing in this journal, it is definitely Professor Vogel. California Management Review is an academically solid journal (classified as a primary journal on the ERIM list) which also reaches out to numerous practitioners, thereby offering a great opportunity to bring research outcomes into corporate boardrooms and to garner wide visibility.
