Abstract

Viorel Roscovan is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Rotterdam School of Management since September, 2008. Viorel holds a Ph.D degree in Finance from CentER, Tilburg University, an M.Phil. degree in Finance from the same institution, and an M.A. degree in Economics from CERGE-EI, a joint initiative of the Academy of Sciences of Czech Republic and the Economic Institute. Viorel was awarded the Lamfalussy Fellowship 2007 by the European Central Bank and the Center of Financial Studies as well as the Young Talent Fellowship by the ERIM Research Network of Erasmus University, among others. His research interests are in banking and asset pricing with a particular focus on trading volume.
