Abstract

Join us on the 11th of March for our first ORCID Session! 

During this 60-minute panel session speakers Gabriela Mejias and Antonio Schettino will take the virtual floor to share information on the adoption of ORCID at universities in The Netherlands and across the region and their expertise on how to use ORCID to increase the visibility of open science products. 

The two presentations will be followed by an interactive Q&A discussion.

Speakers:

  • Gabriela Mejias – Engagement Manager EMEA, ORCID

Gabriela is responsible for developing the community adoption of ORCID. She onboards and supports institutional members as they build and upgrade their integrations and engages with the wider community delivering training and presentations on the benefits of ORCID as the preferred persistent identifier for researchers.  

  • Dr. Antonio Schettino – Coordinator Open Science Community, EUR

Antonio facilitates communication between members of the Rotterdam Open Science Community and organizes events and workshops with a focus on transparent and open science practices from the inception of a research proposal through to the publishing process. He also supports individual researchers and research groups with day-to-day activities related to open science.
