Abstract
In my dissertation I examine the cognitive habits of individuals who are highly effective at collaborating across cultures --individuals high on cultural metacognition. First, I examine and identify interventions for habituating these adaptive cognitive habits amongst individuals who are less effective at intercultural collaboration. Second, I examine how and when individuals high on cultural metacognition utilize and update cultural stereotypes that affect social judgments and interpersonal coordination.
