Abstract
In this project we analyze the human capital risk associated with private equity (PE) transactions and ask: Are employees of PE targets more likely to become unemployed and suffer wage losses compared to otherwise identical employees whose employer did not become a PE target? Moreover, we are interested in which groups of employees are particularly vulnerable, and which groups may even benefit from PE transactions.
