ERIM research tops SSRN ranking again

ERIM currently ranks first again on the SSRN ranking of non-US business schools. The ranking of international business schools contains the working papers of over a thousand non US schools.

SSRN is an independent network providing a platform on the internet where researchers distribute and share new working papers with the latest results of their research. Papers can be downloaded by fellow researchers and the public. SSRN tracks and counts the number of views of the abstracts and downloads of these working papers.

According to Michael C. Jensen, Jesse Isidor Straus Professor of Business Administration, Emeritus, at Harvard Business School and founding father of SSRN, “this ranking is a good indicator of what to look for in the new developments in management research. It’s a simple measure of importance; SSRN has definitely shortened the ‘time to market’ for research, as previously it could take a number of years before a paper was published. These results show that ERIM is having an impact in the global management research arena. Congratulations to ERIM.”

The fact that our research is so often used for referral or review shows that what we do here is relevant, and valued by our peers – and thus, has impact on the field of research in management, both academically and managerial.”

Social Science Research Network (SSRN) is devoted to the rapid worldwide dissemination of social science research and is composed of a number of specialized research networks in each of the social sciences.
