Symposium Finance in Transition Economies

On 1 May the European Union welcomes 10 new member states. These new members are clear examples of countries that have undergone a strong transition process during the past years in social, economic and financial respects.

Examples of transition economies are these new member states, Russia and developing countries. They pose different challenges than economies in a more stable environment. During this symposium we focus on some financial research questions for transition economies.
