ERIM's Second Lustrum: 'Dual impact of management research'

Speakers

Abstract

ERIM Lustrum Programme

Dual Impact of Management Research

In celebration of its 10th anniversary, ERIM is organizing a lustrum conference on the currently hot theme of 'Dual impact of management research'. The theme recognizes that the two yardsticks that will be used to measure ERIM’s success in its next 10 years will be the impact of its research on the scientific community on the one hand and its resonance with the business community on the other. Several distinctive speakers, representing both ERIM’s external partners as well as its internal research programmes, will illustrate and comment on the conference theme from different knowledge-stakeholders perspectives. The conference will cover the perspectives of the funder of research in management, the publishing / editor's perspective and the perspectives of the researchers as the main producers of new knowledge in Research in Management. The researchers will present selected  examples of impact-driven projects from all five ERIM research programmes. Last but not least the conference will synthesize and reflect upon the strategic challenges for the ERIM community towards a third lustrum.
